To Mr. Walliser,

Sensei, you got into my head and heart and made me a better man.  You also used your hands and feet to give me plenty of bruises over the years and I will continue your philosophy of “if I do it to you, you can return the favor!” with my students.

There aren’t enough words or space to give you proper respect and honor.

A Tribute to My Instructor

Mr. Walliser

The school motto of House of Kim was:  Head, Heart and Hand.

Thursday evening, January 28th, 2016, is a day that made me very sad indeed. Last night the door closed on a part of my heart and I am sorry that I could not be there.  The House of Kim TKD Studio, owned by Mr. Fred Walliser had their last class and has closed their doors for the final time due to health concerns of Mr. Walliser.

Mr. Walliser was my Instructor for I don’t even know how many years.  He will always be my Instructor and I will strive to teach your art, Tae Kyon Jitsu Do, as you would want it taught.  I will continue to strive to be “good people!”

Mr. Brown and his students will continue to pass on Mr. Walliser’s legacy in the martial arts!  Work hard to be your best…and be “good people!”  Calm seas ahead Sensei!
Editor’s Note:  Mr. Walliser passed away Saturday August 17, 2019.  Mr. Brown flew up for his funeral the next week.
